There is a wonderful place in Soweto that is a safe haven for children on a daily basis. It is called Little Pina Pina, and it has been taking care of over 60 kids a day since 1997. It is now time for the centre to get a big face lift…
DJ Fresh is spearheading a renovation and refurbishment project, in association with Gumtree SA. The Big Dawg is calling on the residents of Gauteng to donate items on Little Pina Pina’s Wish List, such as paint, artificial grass, toys, furniture and electronics.
And, to make it even easier for people to donate, Gumtree will collect the items if they are on Little Pina Pina’s wishlist. So, no excuses of being too busy to help out the children of our future.
DJ Fresh is also calling on small businesses to get involved by volunteering their time and skills to renovate the facility.
The centre provides children with meals, a safe environment, and an early childhood development program.
To get involved and to donate, visit Gumtree and follow the simple steps. It is quick and it is easy. Don’t be lazy.
