During a question and answer session at the National Assembly yesterday, EFF members were chanting “pay back our money” at Zuma. Fair enough. I am sure much of the country is wondering the same thing with regards to Nkandla.
The speaker of the house then asked the EFF to sit down and comply with parliamentary regulations, or leave the national assembly.
After much singing and dancing, everyone eventually left the building, with riot police having been called. The police presence proved unnecessary at first, but it is then speculated that ANC members heckled with EFF MP’s, and a police barricade had to be assembled between the two parties.
Why can there not simply be an adult conversation about all this?
