Video Shows St. Louis Cops Shooting Man With Knife [Video]

In the past few weeks, there have been numerous reports of police brutality, and a new report from St Louis has a particularly tragic end despite the circumstances.

New cellphone footage shows two police officers shooting 25-year-old Kajieme Powell dead on the streets. Powell was said to have just robbed a nearby store and the police were responding to the shop-owners call.

However, what provoked the cops was that Powell reportedly pulled a knife on the officers and was heading towards them. The cellphone footage shows a different incident though.

The newly released cell phone footage undermines the statement, showing Powell approaching the cops, but not coming as close as was reported, with his hands at his side. The officers began shooting within 15 seconds of their arrival, hitting Powell with a barrage of bullets.
