Is nowhere safe anymore?
A 15 year old girl has been raped at a Virgin Active gym in Durban. She was lured into a toilet stall by another member.
Les Aupias, spokesperson for the Virgin Active group, has said the perpetrator was identified via the gym’s extensive network of CCTV cameras. His membership has since been suspended, and Virgin Active is co-operating with police.
After the rape, the girl told her mother, and a case was opened with the Westville police department.
