After the firing of 16 main characters from the SABC soap Generations, the ANC has called for Communications Minister Faith Muthambi to intervene and understand the full reasoning behind this mass-firing.
Members of the cast who are on strike have said the SABC and MMSV “had failed to deliver on promises it made to them during their strike last year”, where they asked for salary increases, amongst other things.
As if our politicians shouldn’t be focusing on what can only be described as more pressing issues…
