This kid has taken the “meta” idea to a new level, wearing a t-shirt of mugshot of himself, while undergoing a new mugshot session.

19-year-old Robert Burt was arrested for drunken driving in June, and when he returned for his processing this month, he showed up in a bright orange shirt… with his arrest photo printed on the front.

You’ve got to award him points for originality.

When asked how the police reacted, Burt said that the cops were “laughing their asses off,” and asked him to hold his placard so that the photo was visible.
