Apple has garnered the reputation of one of the most profitable companies in the last decade, and the iPod maker is not exactly short of a cash flow.
According to Business Insider, Apple has $140 billion in disposable cash, meaning that it has the most amount of unspent capital compared to any other company in the United States.
To put it into perspective, Microsoft has accumulated $83 billion in cash reserves, while internet mega company Google has built up $59 billion.
