Uber is one of the easiest and most hassle free ways to get around without having your own car. Getting a ride at the press of a button and knowing who your driver will be and when they will be arriving is all great, but now they have taken things even further.

One frustration many Uber users expressed was having to navigate for their drivers, or drivers having to grapple with external GPS systems. NO MORE! With the latest Uber app update, you can enter your destination, and the route will be calculated and highlighted in the app itself.

 It’s a move designed to make it easier for riders and drivers to get where they need to go without wasting time entering addresses into another navigation app or service.

It’s yet another step by the company to streamline the process of getting a ride, something that made Uber and other services like it popular to begin with.

The update also provides a useful fix to the problem of drivers taking routes that are ever-so-slightly out of the way to milk an extra dollar or two out of the fare.
