Billy Joel, adding a true personal touch, performed his hit “Uptown Girl” to Christie Brinkley – his ex-wife and model from the 1983 music video.
Brinkley was attending Joel’s concert and positioned herself in the front-row, and Joel must’ve known she was there, dedicating the song to her in front of the massive Madison Square Garden crowd.
Joel and Brinkley met on the set of the famous video and later married in 1985. They had a child together, but divorced after nine years or marriage.
