After a HUGE amount of speculation on what the new iPhone will look like and when it will be available, Apple have finally scheduled a media event to tell us about the newest mobile device – or so we assume.
The technology giant has scheduled a “big” media event related to its latest mobile phone next month, Re/code has claimed.
Judging by past releases, the iPhone 6 could then go on sale to the public from Friday, September 19.
Apple has launched a new iPhone every year since it unveiled the range in 2007, selling more than 500m units since then, and has traditionally launched key products in September.
When The Telegraph attempted to get hold of Apple for confirmation of the reports they had heard, the company did not respond so we are still working somewhat on hearsay, but unless Apple has had a massive change in their pattern of production, it seems like this is pretty legit.
