When Oscar Pistorius put his Pretoria home on the market following the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, the question of who would actually buy it was always an on-going discussion.
Boksburg mining consultant Louwtjie Louwrens is the man who has paid a reported R4.5 million for Pistorius’ four-bedroom Silverwoods Country Estate home. The house was said to be worth R5 million in February this year.
The house is reported to be 700 m², which means Louwtjie paid about R6 428/m². Other houses for sale at the same estate are being advertised for between R7 000 and R8 800/m².
