In what’s probably one of the most shocking stories of the week, especially for animal lovers, the Giraffe who knocked its head on the Centurion Bridge while being transported via truck in Johannesberg, has died.
The SPCA’s Rick Allan said, “All we can ascertain at this stage is severe head trauma. We are continuing our investigation with the view to possibly lay criminal charges against those responsible.”
Witnesses say they saw the one giraffe knock its head when the truck drove under the bridge.
