Max Mosely, the former head of FIA, did some weird things at a sex party once, pictures were taken, they got out, and now he’s trying to get them “taken down”. Yeah, because that’s how the internet works…
Mosely wants the pictures removed from Google, and is targeting the UK branch of the internet company as he did with the now defunct Sunday tabloid, who originally published the images.
Mosley said in a statement:
Adherence to the rule of law is essential to any society. This must include compliance with the decisions of the courts. As the gateway to the internet, Google makes enormous profits and has great influence, so I have not taken this action lightly. But Google should operate within the law rather than according to rules it makes itself. It cannot be allowed to ignore judgments in our courts.
The claim accuses Google of misusing private information and breaching the Data Protection Act.
