It is not unusual for singers to venture off into other things that can make use of the image they have created for themselves. Fragrances are a big one – because everyone wants to capture the essence de celebrity. Britney is starting a new business a little further afield: she is launching her own line of lingerie!

Now the whole point of lingerie, if we are honest, is window dressing. Yes, yes it is also about feeling sexy as a woman, but really how many women do you know who just wear their lingerie – we mean the REALLY sexy stuff –  around the house on an average Saturday morning?

This in mind, have a sneak peek at Brit modelling an example (it seems) from her new line set to release overseas in September.

Sexy? Well from what we can see it looks more like lacy granny panties… but hey, maybe that’s what turns her on? We will have to wait and see what other sultry pieces she has for us before we can make a full assessment of her taste but this does not really look that promising.
