Dogs are amazing creatures – they can become our best friends without even saying a word throughout their lives; but can dogs feel embarrassment?
Apparently they can, as a many people have taken to answering a question posted on Yahoo about whether dogs can feel that very emotion, with some interesting stories being shared.
We shaved our dog for summer, it was so hot with all her fur, but the professional that shaved her told us not to laugh because it would embarrass her. I thought she was crazy, but sure enough, she got home, someone laughed and our dog went and hid.
There are some other pretty interesting embarassed-dog stories; but here is a video to showcase one such moment when a dog literally hid it’s head in shame and had to leave the awkward situation ASAP.
Check out some of the other answers on Yahoo.
What’s even more embarrassing are PEOPLE who leave their dogs at home the whole day. Shame on you! And you call him “part of the family?”
