It seems like drone owners are fighting a losing battle against the law in certain parts of the globe, literally, as two recreational quadcopters were almost struck by a police helicopter.
A NYPD chopper patrolling the area around the George Washington Bridge in New York got dangerously close to two drones, and had to swerve to avoid colliding with them.
The helicopter then tailed the drones and led the NYPD ground patrol to the operators, arresting them.
This isn’t the first time a helicopter encountered a drone, as a recreational drone user in Great Falls, Virginia, posted footage of a law enforcement helicopter trying to push his drone into the Potomac River.
You too can also become a YouTube sensation with some awesome drone footage, and you can get a recreational one from Drone Photo, who have some different models and options available, including drones with GPS, camera and stabilising features on offer.
