Adolf Hitler, while a vicious military strategist, wasn’t the most self-aware human-being on the planet during his reign.
Hitler, reportedly having Jewish ties himself and wanting to eradicate the religious group from Germany, used a lot of propaganda to highlight what he thought was the ideal “Aryan” race. Unfortunately, it seems as ole Adolf forgot to check the background details of his pro-Aryan poster-children.
Hessy Taft was featured on an iconic Nazi poster at just six months old, supposedly representing the “ideal Aryan baby”, but little did the Nazi know, (and yip, you guessed it), she was and still is, Jewish.
“I can laugh about it now,” the 80-year-old Professor Taft told Germany’s Bild newspaper in an interview. “But if the Nazis had known who I really was, I wouldn’t be alive.”
