Picking just ONE meal is not ideal these days, we’re diverse humans, for crying out loud, and sometimes need a little bit of everything – as they say: variety is the spice of life.
Platters have solved this problem, giving us a crazy concoction of all types of foods in one glorious dish of assortment, but they can tend to be a bit on the pricy side of things, particularly with seafood.
And that is a crime, because the variations of those ocean-dwelling delights makes the choice of what to get as difficult as picking our favourite child. Prawns, lobsters, line fish, calamari or muscles? How about getting them all?
Pigalle’s new seafood platter for two will ease your worries and allow you to do the intelligent thing: not picking a favourite.
Available until the 31st of July on Monday – Thursday evenings, the platter for two, priced at R450, features two Natal Lobsters, prawns, linefish, calamari and mussels, prepared in unique Pigalle way.
If you’re not rolling yourself out the door after the main course, then there’s still Pigalle’s delicious home-made vanilla bean cheesecake, on digestive biscuit with a chocolate ganache top.
On top of that, there’s also a wine-pairing option: you can select two or three-course meals that will include wines to fit the dish you’re digging into.
This wine pairing comes at a cost of R25.00 per glass, R175 per person for the two-course option, and R215 for the three-course option.
