With Shrien’s trial set to start in October (after three years of postponement), it seems like the waiting period for selling the evidence in the case has elapsed as well.
The taxi which was the scene of the “kidnapping” and murder of Anni Dewani has been repurposed, and is now reported to be owned by a preacher and used for mercy missions, funerals and weddings.
This whole concept is dripping with irony of every flavour, ripe for the cynic’s picking!
Would you hire the car that a new bride was murdered in for your wedding? Good omens much?
Also, mercy missions? With, essentially, what is evidence in a murder trial? Let us hope there is some redemption for Anni’s family from the great ether for this re-purposing and we all wait with baited breath for the trail to begin.
Sexy ride for your next big celebration… Matric Dance maybe?
