This latest nifty little gadget in the android lineup is a pretty cool new toy – especially if you are among the phablet loving phtevens out there. 

We’ll talk about phablets another day, but if you already have one you are going to love the new Andriod Watch. It combines the best of both worlds: phablet for reading, and a sensibly sized write screen for your notifications and quick bits and pieces… and of course telling the time.

Time recently reviewed the watch and they suggested it would not cure that unstoppable itch to check your phone every 5 minutes. It was, however, useful to quickly delete unwanted email and was very well integrated with the Google Now app but overall felt a bit unfinished.

Considering this is the first batch of this technology we are seeing, it is hardly surprising but perhaps hold off on pre-ordering until they have worked out a few more of the kinks. Remember the first cellphones?
