Imagine for a moment, if you will, the face of a person who would make you clutch your purse or phone a little closer. Now imagine your grandmother… definitely not the same person right?
Think again!
This stealth granny is caught on CCTV stealing handbags.
Hannah Harris, 68, stole purses in two different Brooklyn restaurants this month, according to police. In the most recent incident, Harris slyly snagged a purse away from a woman holding a kid:
You can see in the video, uploaded by Gothamist’s Jen Chung, that Harris is a real professional. She sidles up to the woman holding a kid on the far right and expertly retrieves her purse from the back of her chair.
Be on the look out for other stealthy, purse grabbing grannies.
