Building a startup business is never easy, and getting recognised for your efforts is even tougher, but South African-built app company SnapScan has garnered some buzz and has been featured on Business Insider’s Top 12 African Startups list.
SnapScan, run by a ten-man team, is a genius app that allows SA users to pay at over 5,000 stores across SA by simply scanning a QR code at the shop.
It’s really made the convenience of making purchases so much smoother, without having to always have cash on hand or wearing our your poor credit or debit card, not to mention saving you on that awkward first date after you realise you’ve left your wallet at home.
