This is a very nifty little app if you are looking to go greener and cut down on your ridiculous petrol costs while commuting around the Mother City.
MyCiti has boomed since it was launched and its reliability is pretty spectacular for a bus service. But this experience has just become that much better for the tech-lovers among us with a MyCiti app – once again, not official or endorsed by MyCiti or The City of Cape Town.
This app has everything a commuter could want from routes, timetables, the location of the bus you are waiting for, the balance remaining on your card, a fare calculator… really everything but a kitchen sink.
There is just one catch… only phones running Android operating systems are advanced enough to use all the features of the app and so it is only available to these elite many few.
If you fall into this group, it really is worth checking out more info on this helpful invention on Bandwidthblog.
