So for his 21st birthday this young man was most likely stitching someone up or cleaning out a bedpan – what were YOU doing to help your fellow South Africans when you turned 21? No, drinking more alcohol so there is less for under-age drinkers does not count.
“I definitely will not leave the country; I love South Africa. It is always important to give back to your country and your people,” Sabile Kubheka told [News24].
Kubheka – one of five children raised by a single mother who worked as a sales manager at Shoprite – graduated from the University of Kwazulu-Natal in April this year.
He graduated with distinction in obstetrics and gynaecology and hopes to continue his studies with a masters specialising in endocrinology. Qualifying at just 20 years old is pretty big achievement.
This is what you call a bright future! What are you doing with your life this Monday morning?
