We will begrudgingly admit that Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best players around at the moment, and were we Portugal fans, we would most likely just sing his praises in spite of his dirty dives and blatant arrogance.
But we are not really, and so the size of his gigantic ego does bother us. Honestly, who has a museum, OF THEMSELVES??
Ronaldo acts like the lovechild of a Cristal-fueled one-night stand between Kanye West and Alex Rodriguez.
So many of Ronaldo’s endeavors are built on the assumption everyone wants to be just like him and that he is gracing the world with his presence.
One of the other greatest footballers around at the moment, Lionel Messi, does not cause such blood-boiling rage. Why? Because he does not assume that his immense talent makes him everyone’s idol.
Humility, people.
Humility is what makes uber-talented superstars lovable – even when they dash the hopes of your sports team ever winning a title.
