This poor little mongrel has been officially awarded the title of The Ugliest Dog In The World at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma, California.

This is 2-year-old Peanut…

Holy shit, Peanut.

Ok, this is one freaky looking dawg, it’s true. But Peanut was not born this way. He was a victim of abuse and suffered injury due to a fire; it has resulted in him losing his lips and eyelids. This means he has to produce ‘tears’ to keep his eyes moist and these drain into his nose, making snot bubbles a regular feature of his appearance.

It is a sad tale with a sweet, even if weird-looking, ending and Peanuts big-hearted owner plans to donate the winnings from this competition to help pay for other pet’s vet bills and to prevent animal abuse.

Very noble lady.
