Before you get all huffy on us, take a deep breath and think about your predicament. You need wi-fi to do business and make the all important moolah and, because you are not a sell-out, you have made it work so far to start your own venture and run it from… well, wherever really.
But we put it to you: is the coffee shop at The Woodstock Exchange really the best place to be doing this?
You spend roughly R20 per cappuccino (let’s not forget that occasional breakfast sandwich, plus tip), and lets face it – if you are going to do even a half a day of business you need at least three to warrant sitting there for five hours, right? That is a little more than R1260 per month, ON CAPPUCCINOS (if you work an average month of 21 days)!!
If that wasn’t ridiculous enough to make you reconsider your current office space, you are surely not working at your optimum in a noisy coffee shop, surrounded by distraction and delicious treats tempting you into forking out more cash – instead of EARNING more cash.
Come on – don’t be silly.
We know it’s hard to separate yourself from The Woodstock Exchange. We understand. It’s so cool and arty and there are people with beards.
If you did your research like we did, you would know that you wouldn’t have to even leave the WEX to have your own office space – for around the same amount you are spending on coffee!
The Bureaux, just one floor up from that favourite coffee shop of yours, will give you your very own desk, in an ACTUAL office, for less than what you are currently spending on daily caffeine and breakfast. Along with fancy and obvious necessary perks like security, cleaning, super fast internet and parking. Yes, parking.
And with the savings you can treat yourself to a whole bag of your favourite coffee, make it in your favourite cup and have a decent sized cuppa joe instead of paying through your nose for a tiny cup and some free wi-fi.
