Sometimes picking between a tropical island getaway and a ski-excursion can be a serious debate, as well as a shameful first world problem.
But thanks to the smoke and mirrors that are artificial holiday destinations and locales, you don’t have to choose, and instead get a hodgepodge holiday of everything and anything.
In photographer Reiner Riedler’s latest collection, entitled Fake Holidays, some of the world’s most interesting and bizarre fake vacation destinations are captured – including everything from man-built snow mountains to artificial beaches.
It’s all a façade, people… but a pretty convenient one at that.
