In an absolute bizarre event, a man murdered his family before heading out to the pub and enjoying the Italy vs England World Cup football match, acting as if nothing had happened.
Carlo Lissi is being held for killing his wife, then going on to kill his two children, aged five and one. He then rounded off his horrifying evening by popping down to the bar to watch the big football fixture with his friends, throwing the murder weapon down a drain on the way there.
Following hours of questioning the 31-year-old allegedly confessed to the grisly killings, telling police to give him ‘the maximum sentence’.
Lissi is said to have told police he committed the horrific triple murder because he was in love with another woman.
Friends of Lissi, who is an IT consultant, said that he acted completely natural during the game, cheering and joking as usual.
