The World Cup has JUST got underway, and already the drama-llamas have been let loose.
In the next bit of controversy surrounding the prestigious tournament, it’s been reported that a the French team were under surveillance by a mysterious drone.
Dun dun duuunnnn…
French national team coach Didier Deschamps is reportedly calling for an investigation into a quadcoptor drone that was spotted spying over his team’s closed training session on Tuesday.
While this doesn’t bode well for the reputation of drones at the moment, they are still legal to fly in SA, despite the controversy surrounding them in the media recently.
This isn’t the first time controversy has visited France at a World Cup, as back in 2010, they team had some internal issues with then-coach Raymond Domenech and refused to train. Totally the most mature way to handle things.
