If the insane sporting action this weekend is lacking a little horsepower for your liking, the Top Torque Auto Expo is taking place to rev up the petrol-head inside of us all.

The expo, which will run from 12 – 15 June, will be a showpiece for the best that the auto industry has to offer, including the latest products, cars, motorcycles and gear, service providers, dealerships, driving simulators, and a host of goods from the leading automotive brands. It’s going to be wheels on wheels this weekend!

And the expo doesn’t only give you the chance to ogle over some gorgeous cars, but there will be the chance to take one home.

There will be a live auction for a Hyundai Accent hatchback (which retails for R245,000) starting at R5,000, and if you’ve ever been to a car auction, you KNOW it’s going to be exciting. What’s even better, is that it’s also all for a good cause, as the auction itself is to help raise money for a charity. Awesome!

The auction will get underway in the Arena on Saturday, 14 June at 13:00 and bidders are required to register before the auction commences. Daily registration will take place in the Arena from 11 – 13 June between 11:00 – 16:00 and on Saturday, 14 June from 09:00 – 11:00; terms and conditions apply.

And if you’re worrying about what to do with the kids while you’re gallivanting and drooling over the car-candy, bring them with! There will be a go-kart track and other activities to partake in. May as well get them started young!
