Ahh we do love old Barack. He really knows how to make an appearance. At the 70th anniversary of D-Day in Benouville in Normandy, France on the 6th of June, world leaders gathered and amongst them was the US president and of course, Russia’s president, Putin.
Considering the currently mounting tensions between the two countries over the Ukraine crisis, the unplanned meeting was rather awkward.
Although the pair did have more of a conversation, their meeting remained brief and inconclusive. For more details click here.
