If there’s something that people in interweb-land love, it’s shaky camera footage of bizarre events.
There seems to be something charming about a uber-amateur attempt at capturing a cat doing a somersault or your friend cracking his hip while trying to master his parkour “skills”, but let’s be honest, sometimes you have to be a bit more subtle when using your mobile phone to capture the more awkward moments or secretive events.
That’s where some James Bond-esque tech could come in handy, but while it seems like a near-future desire, things such as spy pens are very-much available right now.
Not only would you capture some great footage, but you’ll also get in on the hidden-cam phenomenon that seems to lure in the odd-million views on YouTube; and you know what that means: making some serious moola. See exhibit A, below.
This pen, for example, allows the man on the street to get access to this kind of hidden camera technology, and at only R299 (available online: click here), it gives everyone the chance to act like a suave double-0 agent and capture some incognito action.
The cool gadget could also be an ice-breaker with the ladies and help get your spy-swag on – so it looks like a win/win to us.
