Nobody like to be snubbed when trying to pick up a hot young thing at the bar or your favourite campus coffee shop but this society takes it to a whole new level of creepy.

The now infamous Elliot Rodger was part of a site created for men who felt like they were robbed of their allotted share of woman-love by these greedy, sneaky, pick up artists – also known as the guys who got the girls. 

There are some deeply troubling sentiments eschewed by this site and its members who dub themselves “incels” (involuntary celibates).  Rodger posted on this site

If we can’t solve our problems we must DESTROY our problems.

One day incels will realize their true strength and numbers, and will overthrow this oppressive feminist system.

Once news of the mass shooting began to spread the site as well as its Twitter account was shut down.
