After 13 seasons, the host of American Idol couldn’t restrain his singing voice any more and starred in a surprise performance in the finale.
After his mother revealed that [Ryan] Seacrest is a big Richard Marx fan, the host performed some lines from Marx’s “Right Here Waiting For You.”
The surprises didn’t end there though, as Seacrest was joined on stage by Marx himself, which led Harry Connick Jr. to joke that Seacrest could have a record deal before the night was through.[TIME]
