Bullfighting is one of those questionable pass-times from a bygone era that is still very pervasive in modern Spanish culture.
Spaniards are PROUD of this aspect of their culture – so much so, that the San Isidro Fiesta is an event that sells out immediately.
Many of you reading this will have strong opinions as to the element of animal-cruelty, which is present in this age-old form of entertainment.
See what happens when a bull becomes so agitated – nay – so totally pissed off, that 3 Tereros feel the full brunt of this beast’s anger.
David Mora experienced the worst of it – this dude had to have a major blood transfusion to replace the over 2 litres of blood he lost after the bull’s horns pierced him repeatedly.
For the record, this is the first time they have had to call off a bull fight in 35 years.
Might be a sign to put this particular form of entertainment to bed…..
