It looks like there is no love lost between Die Heuwels Fantasties’ ex-drummer, Philip Erasmus, and his former band mates. A source close to the band says he got fed up with the band ‘selling out,’ hacked their Facebook page and made this protest video.
According to our anonymous source:
I don’t know the fine details but Philip Erasmus from Die Heuwels Fantasties left the band and it all revolved around money and how the band sold out to make money by targeting the afrikaans market and making music they did not like or believe in.
Well – He has been replaced by Sheldon Yoko and a few months later he has hacked their facebook account with numerous random statuses about money and selling out AND a Youtube video.
Die Heuwels have a MASSIVE following and this is going to go viral – I thought I would let you know before they pull the posts down.
hahaha he even changed the profile pic and Facebook header to money.
We checked out their Facebook page and found this:
Interesting.
Do you know anything about this?
Perhaps its a marketing stunt?
Are you currently in the band?
