OMG – so awkies. Avril Lavigne is either on tranquillisers or she just goes out of her way to be the most dead-pan and sad human being we’ve ever heard of. Here’s the deal: Avril went down to Brazil to indulge her fans in what is commonly known as a ‘meet and greet’. It’s when a star and their respective management company arranges an opportunity for the star in question to basically make a bit of quick cash by allowing fans to meet the star, take photo’s with them , tweet about it, and have a flipping awesome day.

Turns out everyone in Brazil loves Avril. So much so, that they were willing to fork out 215 Pounds for the privilege of meeting this chick. Each. That’s 215 pounds EACH. For us that would be like paying over 3 grand to meet Patricia Lewis.

So the least you’d expect from Avril would be for her to slap a smile on her face and even throw an arm casually around an excited fan for the opportunity to give them an incredible photograph that they could treasure forever and perhaps make their otherwise less-than-fantastic lives more excellent? Nope! Not Avril! She literally went out of her way to be as stand-offish as possible. She didn’t smile. She GRIMACED her way through each painful photo and ensured that their was at least a thousand km’s of distance between herself and each fan for each photo op. She literally made it the most uncomfortable experience imaginable for everyone there.

Come on Avril, Why do you have to go and make things so complicated?
