Trust the Chinese to do something quicker, faster and more efficiently. Worker bees that they are. So what the industrious Orientals have managed to do this time, is literally build ten one-storey houses in a DAY by using 3D printing technology. The 3D printers in question are massive, being10 meters (33 feet) wide and 6.6 meters (22 feet) high. The company? WinSun Decoration Design Engineering. These guys get full-points for maximising productivity in the average work-day.
In fact , this company becomes far more impressive when you consider this: Each 2,100 square-foot building costs less than $5,000 to construct. Check. They even use a special ‘quick-dry’ cement to speed up the process. And what’s more, their workers are exposed to far less toxic chemicals during the building process due to this type of construction being exceptionally environmentally friendly. Check and check again. So in a nutshell, we now live in times that allow for us to build structures in a single day, do minimal damage to the environment and improve the health of construction workers. All at a cost that is arguably more affordable than your average monthly shop at Woolies. Thanks China!
