We’ve all seen the North Korean leader’s hair cut – not really the best example of tastefulness – it’s that sort of ‘business in the front’, ‘Murder in the back’ look that was cool for 2 seconds in the 80’s. UK hairdresser, Mo Nabbach, thought it would be funny to use Kim Jong Un’s hairstyle as an example of a bad hair day. We think it’s hilarious and so did everyone else, everyone except officials from the North Korean embassy.

To advertise a 15% discount at M&M Hair Academy, Mo Nabbach made a massive poster displaying the majestic hairdo donned by Kim Jong Un. It’s a pity that the officials at the nearby North Korean embassy didn’t approve of the “disrespectful” poster. The officials came to Mo’s shop and demanded that it should be taken down.

At first he stood his ground saying: “I told them this is England and not North Korea and told them to get their lawyers.” He has since taken it down, though clients have urged him to put it back up.
