Situated on the waterfront in Greenwich, Connecticut , this estate is the most expensive single-family home in the US. The 20 hectare property recently sold for R 1.2 billion. Take a look inside.

Known as the Copper Beech Farm, the 12-bedroom home was previously owned by a timber mogul. The estate features two greenhouses, a grass tennis court, a 23-meter heated pool with hot tub, 1,393 square meters of living space, 650 square meters of basement and attic space, two offshore islands and library and dining rooms with padded wooden walls.
