When Gareth Cliff announced his departure from 5FM, many people hoped it was but a April Fools’ joke. For those who have been having Gareth Cliff withdrawal, here’s the promo for his new venture.

The shock jock’s latest brain child is called CliffCentral, an “unradio” podcast-like venture. The promo video shows Cliff on a psychologist’s leather couch getting some therapy, when he makes a breakthrough – CliffCentral.

For CliffCentral, I want presenters with real personality and points of view. Outrageous people: prostitutes, extreme right-wingers, extreme left-wingers, racists, you know, a homeless woman who sleeps under a bridge. This is what listeners want,” said Cliff.

CliffCentral.com will be available via an online-stream, and talks are that a local TV channel will feature hour long slots daily. CliffCentral will also have an official WeChat account, where a variety of content will be available (like videos, polls, sound clips, etc).
