Twitter recently launched a redesign of its user profile, which will roll out to all users over the next few weeks. But the new profile design is basically a carbon copy of Facebook. Can’t Twitter just stay Twitter.
Twitter’s new web profile design features a larger profile picture, a Facebook-esque layout and header/cover image, and the ability to pin your favourite tweets to the top of your – Twitter Profile. With this redesign, Twitter will join Google+ and Facebook in having basically the same layout.
The new design might be more familiar to new users, but it’s kinda bland and unoriginal.
