When it comes to aerial drones, DJI’s quadcopters are some of the more user friendly and advanced on the market. The company’s latest model features a built-in air traffic controller.
Regulating bodies are a few steps behinds the commercial flying drone market. DJI’s new Phantom 2 Vision+, proves this by having its own built-in traffic controller. Using GPS the function will stop the drone from flying into restricted airspace like airports.
Improved stabilisation is another key feature in the latest model, with the company claiming that the Phantom 2 Vision+ can now keep its position without input in winds up to 40km/h. Like the previous version of the Phantom, the drone comes as a complete package; equipped with a 14-megapixel camera on a gimbal that allows the camera to point straight down.
