Malaysian authorities have issued a new version of the last words spoken by the cockpit of the still-missing flight MH370. It is not clear why the Malaysian authorities got it wrong the first time, or why it took so long to correct.
Initially authorities said the last words received from the cockpit were “all right, good night,” but the new version is much more inline with how a pilot would communicate with traffic control:
Good night Malaysian three seven zero.
Malaysian authorities still have to determine whether the pilot or co-pilot spoke the words. Last contact with MH370 took place at 01:19 Malaysian time.
