Often, a bigoted westerner may succumb to emoting a racial slur along the lines of everyone looking the same in an Asian country. Well in North Korea, it is even harder for idiots to distinguish people, seeing as there are only a couple of hairstyles allowed by the government. Here are 28 official North Korean haircuts.

Last year North Korea implemented state-sanctioned haircuts for men and women. The women’s hairstyles seem to be in line with styles from the 1980’s, with copious amounts of  feathering.

Men are prohibited from growing their hair longer than 5cm. Older men are given a bit more leeway at 7 cm.
