Last year a Chinese zoo was busted for trying to pass one of these dogs off as an actual lion. But don’t expect to be able to afford one of these puppies. A golden-haired one-year-old Tibetan mastiff puppy was sold in China at a luxury pet fair for R21 million.
Here is the pup in question on the left of a model that seems to be enjoying the canine company a bit too much. The red pup of the same breed on the right sold for R10.4 million.
This dog is more valuable than its weight in gold. It might be considered cruel to lock it up in a safe for security. Perhaps doggie day care is the best option. The most expensive dog in the world needs pampering.
