Apple’s security is leakier than a colander of late. These images – based on a first hand description – of the company’s life data tracking app ‘Healthbook’ have surfaced. It is expected that Apple’s health-monitoring software for its mobile operating system will be launched with iOS 8.
‘Wearables’ are the new fashionable trend in the tech world. Most current wearable technology (wristbands and watches) focus their attention mainly on fitness and tracking some vital signs, like one’s heart rate. The screenshots of ‘Healthbook’ suggest Apple is creating a much broader platform, encompassing more than just weight and heart rate. Data tracked by the cards shown includes blood pressure, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation and nutrition.
