Meet Chris Dancy, the 45-year-old known as the most connected man in the world. Boasting between 300 to 700 systems running at any given moment, all capturing real-time data about his life, Dancy’s use of technology makes the average tech user look like a gorilla with a stick.
You can either take him to be a tech visionary or a self involved techno wanker. But that doesn’t stop Darcy from even tracking his dog using Tagg. Five years ago, Darcy journey to become hyper connected started when his doctor was struggling to keep up with his health records. Darcy took it upon himself to start collecting the data himself. Since then he has lost 45kg by keeping track of his life data.
These days his body is covered with a variety of wearable devices, including the smartwatch Pebble and the fitness band Fitbit. At home he sleeps on a bed that tracks his sleep, controls the lighting from his smartphone and weighs himself on a WiFi scale among other things.
Please enjoy the most connected man’s corny self indulgent video above.
