Yesterday we got footage from 2oceansviber Kyle J, showing men removing DA posters from a lamp post. The DA have responded to the matter in a press release, offering a R5,000 reward for photographic or video evidence that would lead to the arrest and successful prosecution of individuals purposely vandalising, removing or tampering with any of their election posters in the province.
In the press release the DA mentions that they have received reports in the last two weeks, concerning vandalism of their party posters. In some cases their posters were taken down, replaced by other party posters, vandalised or hidden behind other posters.
If you have any photographic or video evidence pertaining to this you can call their hotline on 021 481 4300 or email it to provincial.office@dawesterncape.org.za or contact them on Twitter at @WesternCapeDA.
